We’re delighted to be holding a selection of special events during this year’s festival. More information about these events (and all of our other fabulous screenings) can be found here: https://www.norwichfilmfestival.co.uk/events/2018-events/
Sea Sorrow marks Vanessa Redgrave’s debut as a film director and is a very personal, dynamic meditation on the current global refugee crisis through the eyes and voices of campaigners and children mixing past and present in its reflection on the importance of human rights. This event has been sponsored by Dipple & Conway.
The Norwich Film Festival is delighted to host an In Conversation with one the UK’s best loved actresses who has worked extensively in Film, T.V and Theatre. Juliet has won an Olivier award, along with being nominated a further four times within this field. She has also been nominated four times for the prestigious BAFTA Best Actress category for her work in Film and TV.
We will be closing this year’s Festival with an informal awards ceremony in which we will be announcing the winners of our Best Short, Best Student, Best Animation, Best Documentary and Best East Anglian Award for 2018. This event will be followed by a small drinks reception which will provide a wonderful opportunity for our Nominated filmmakers to network with other filmmakers.
