Synopsis: Rhubarb farmer Harry Bamford spent his working life growing and perfecting his prize-winning crop. Now, long retired and under the care of his struggling wife Joyce, Harry begins to experience vivid and disturbing hallucinations. As Harry’s obsessive behaviour turns hostile, domestic tensions mount, leading to a dangerous and unexpected turn of events.
About the Filmmaker: Newcastle born Steven Boyle, has a varied body of work spanning commercials, brand films, music videos and short films. He is a technically well versed filmmaker with a natural instinct for performance and a love for bold, well-crafted stories. Industry recognition includes 7 Royal Television Society awards, (North East & Borders) for his short form work, including three craft awards for professional excellence in directing. Steven’s focus is now drama and long form narrative work and he is currently developing several projects through his production company Little Battle.
