Synopsis: A young boy tries to comfort his grieving mother.
About the Filmmaker: John is an Animation Director / Artist based in South West London. His animation practice derives from his love of Folk-tales, Kitchen-‐sink drama and craft-based/hand-made artwork John uses methods including multi-media stop-motion drawing and multi-plane two‐dimensional puppetry. His aim is to retain an emotional visceral-ness that is of core importance to his film practice/storytelling. John has worked in Animation for the past 10 years, and has directed several films that have been selected for over 30 internationally accredited film festivals. These include the films “Bad Reception” and “Little Jacque.” John has directed several music/promotional videos for bands including The Coral, Bill Ryder-Jones and Kontakte. In recent months John has been developing/writing a new project and is currently applying for funding, as well as being about to release his film “In Loving Memories…”
