Synopsis: A magical realist anthology follows eight encounters with a mysterious masked figure. Each character searches for someone as their stories culminate in a fated evening at an American diner.
About the Filmmaker: Holden Boyles grew up in small-town Maryland, USA. His background in fine art and animation has lead to a unique anthological-style approach to filmmaking, resulting in one early feature film of 80+ vignettes and dozens of short films since 2010. His latest 2024 short is a surreal and epic instalment in his ongoing “Torlo” universe. He recently graduated from the London Film School and co-founded Ambiguous, a transmedia film and games company.
