Synopsis: It’s Meghan’s first week on the job as a home carer. She’s left alone to visit the elderly Bonnie who has a refreshing, yet challenging approach to her personal care.
About the Filmmaker: Hannah Kathryn Kelso (she/they) is a BAFTA and BIFA nominated writer from Alloa, a small town in the east of Scotland. As a writer, her work has screened at over sixty festivals internationally and has won various awards including an Annie and an RTS award. Recently, she was nominated for the All3 Media New Voice award for TV drama and shortlisted for BAFTA’s prestigous Rocliffe competition for her comedy pilot ‘Mooncats’. She is a Warner Bros Creative Scholar and a Donald Dewar Arts Awardee. She has two three TV shows and two feature films in development and is has recently worked in the writer’s room for the upcoming series A Thousand Blows with showrunner Steve Knight. She is currently on the Universal Global Writers Programme with a residency at Working Title where she is developing a feature with their film team. She is represented by Olivia Gray and Molly Eagles at Independent Talent.
