Synopsis: After stepping sock first into a puddle under her fridge, Jeanie realises that her freezer is completely frozen over. While hacking at the ice, she discovers a single shrimp that transforms into an embryo. She gets scared as the items in her fridge also gradually come to life until the freezer bursts open, transporting Jeanie into her subconscious where she finally faces her fear of pregnancy.
About the Filmmaker: Noémi Knobil: Born in 2000, grows up in Lausanne. 2019 Attends preparatory year in visual arts at the ECAL (École cantonale d’art de Lausanne). 2020-23 Bachelor in animation studies at the HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). She works as an animation film director, 2D animator and sound designer. Sven Bachmann: He grew up in Basel and in 2020 attended the preparatory course in visual arts at Schule für Gestaltung in Basel. 2020-23 Bachelor in Animation studies at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). CREVETTE (2023) is his graduation film. He works as an animation film director, 2D animator and production manager. Jill Vágner: Born in 2000 in Zurich, Switzerland. 2018 Attends preparatory course at ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). 2020-23 Bachelor in Animation student at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). CREVETTE (2023) is his graduation film. He works as a 2D animator, FX animator, concept art designer, background artist and as production manager. Elina Huber: Born in 2000 in Zurich, Switzerland. From 2018-20 she attended a preparatory course at ZHdK (Zürcher Hochschule der Künste). 2020-23 she was a Bachelor in Animation student at HSLU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). CREVETTE (2023) is her graduation film. She works as a director and 2D animator.
