Synopsis: A philosopher and his girlfriend involuntarily must spend a night at a nudist campsite, which is far beyond their comfort zone. At the campsite they meet a friendly couple, and this reveals underlying conflicts and creates tension in their relationship.
About the Filmmaker: Eirik Tveiten worked as an actor before he made his debut as a playwrite with The cactus in 1997. In 2010 he wrote and directed the acclaimed short film Friendly people. Since then, he has written and directed 14 short films. His work includes different genres and stretches from high realism to stylized comedy. His last short film, Night Ride won best Short Film at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2022 and was nominated for an Academy Award in 2023. His current short film Camping in Paradise won both the Jury Prize and Audience Award at the Annapolis Film Festival before going on to screen at Tribeca and a series of Oscar-qualifying festivals. Eirik is currently in development with a feature film project.
