Synopsis: Saul reluctantly ventures to Oxford Street in London, where an unexpected encounter with a rough sleeper transforms his life.
About the Filmmaker: Paul began directing professionally back in 2002. He won the Cannes Young Director Award in 2005 and has since gone on to rack up an impressive catalogue of work including both short films and features. After the critical success of his last two feature films – The Pyramid Texts starring James Cosmo and Retaliation starring Orlando Bloom, Janet Mongomery, Anne Reid, Alex Ferns and Charlie Creed-Miles (both of which were nominated for best film and both won best actor at the Edinburgh International Film Festival), Paul now embarks on his third creative venture, An Angel On Oxford Street, a short animated film written by BAFTA winning writer Geoff Thompson and narrated by Christopher Eccleston.
