About the Filmmaker: Cameron Perry is an award-winning film director, graduating from the University of East Anglia in Film and English Literature. In 2019, his short film “Better Together” found success wining the UK Nespresso Talents and was consequently screened at Cannes Film Festival that year. Cameron’s next project ”When The Clapping Stops” followed the story of a carer abandoned by the UK care sector. The short film won Gold at the 1.4 Awards; was screened at BAFTA-qualifying Bolton Film Festival and was also selected at 5x BIFA-qualifying festivals, including Wimbledon Shorts where Cameron picked up the Best Young Filmmaker award.
