Synopsis: A meditative symphony on the city and death. The filmmaker returns to places where he, 18 years earlier, had made a film about suicide. Now, in the crowded streets of Tehran and rundown corners with flanked walls, he searches for the reasons that had led three sisters to end their lives together.
About the Filmmaker: Iman Behrouzi studied cinema and directing at the University of Tehran in Iran. His most recent work “Three Sisters” was premiered at the Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival in 2022 and was awarded with a Special Mention by the jury of the International Competition of the Lago Film Fest in 2023. “Three Sisters” is selected as the best Iranian short documentary of Year 2023 by Fidan, Iranian short film magazine. He has also had other work selected by multiple film festivals.
