Synopsis: In darkest Devon in the 1980’s an amateur theatre group staged a production of Macbeth so disastrous that it made international headlines. Forty years later film-maker James Soldan sets out to track down the cast and figure out what really happened.
About the Filmmaker: James is a Writer and Director from Devon, UK, whose short films have screened at a range of International and Bafta qualifying festivals. With a background in Theatre, he has worked for nearly a decade in the film industry. He’s shot documentaries that have been broadcast by the BBC and designed music videos for bands like Arctic Monkeys and Years & Years. James tries to use this experience in his directing work to tell playful, human stories, with a hands on and DIY approach.
