Synopsis: November, 1849. Having fled the Great Famine, two warring Irish sisters seek their fortunes in the gold rush. But with winter fast approaching and nothing to show for their efforts, their age-old feud soon threatens to become deadly.
About the Filmmaker: Tom Berkeley & Ross White are an Academy Award® and BAFTA winning filmmaking duo, who rose to prominence in 2022 for their breakout Northern Irish black comedy AN IRISH GOODBYE, which became the first short film in history win an Oscar, a BAFTA and an IFTA. From England and Ireland respectively, the pair began working together in 2019 and their debut film ROY played at over 50 international film festivals and was one of ten films shortlisted for Best British Short Film at the BAFTA Awards 2022.
