Synopsis: A young and optimistic Arab actor struggling to make ends meet, receives a last-minute call for an audition that could change his life. But what starts as a routine journey quickly morphs into a Kafkaesque nightmare of terror and prejudice.
About the Filmmaker: Nez, a London-born, multi-award-winning director. His music video works includes crafting visuals for prominent artists such as MIA, The Streets, Kano, Kid Cudi, Stormzy, Rudimental, Michael Kiwanuka, Disclosure, and Bruno Mars, among others.
His powerful mental health awareness campaign for ITV picked up numerous accolades, including the prestigious ‘Gold of Golds’ at the 2020 Circle Awards.
Venturing into long-form projects, Nez worked as the second unit director on the BAFTA-winning series ‘Gangs of London’ and his recently shot short film ‘See it, Say it’ backed by Amazon is currently starting its festival run.
