Synopsis: Emma accompanies her terminally ill sister, Maggie, in Switzerland during her last days before assisted suicide. She soon finds herself challenged when she has to overcome her own feelings in order to reconnect and embrace Maggie’s final wishes.
About the Filmmaker: Born and raised in Switzerland, Anne Madeleine Mancosu started her filmmaking career in wildlife documentaries for the NDR (DE) and National Geographic. Since then, she has worked internationally as camera operator in various documentaries. Her work explores the humanity in exceptional situations. ‘Matterhorn’ is Anne Madeleine’s Graduation Film and the first story she has filmed at her home, the shores of the Léman.
