Synopsis: A question of power and relationships when a mother comes to stay for the weekend, bringing with her the toxic sway of emotions and pitching a couple against each other with consequences.
About the Filmmaker: Aella Jordan-Edge is a narrative director studying Directing Fiction at the National Film and Television School. She grew up in both London and New York and makes films about human relationships. Her passion for storytelling is informed by her background in theatre, a degree in literature and her experience in production. Her film, ‘Misnomer’ (2022), screened at Norwich, Manchester, Bolton, London Film Week, Oslo Fusion, and more.
