Synopsis: The story of a lonely young woman kept awake at night by an itch on her back that she just can’t scratch. While mudlarking on the Thames foreshore, she meets a young man when they discover a back scratcher lying in the mud.
About the Filmmaker: Cathy graduated with a first from Film Practice at LCC in 2019, with a joint specialism in Sound Recording and Screenwriting. Since 2018, she has worked alternately as a production sound recordist and assistant, building up credits across multiple disciplines including shorts, features and commercials. When lockdown paused production work she went back to writing, hoping to develop this side of her career. She has a MA in Visual Anthropology at Goldsmiths University of London, developing her experience in documentary production.
