Synopsis: An intimate portrait of three lives on the outskirts of Los Angeles. A father, mother and son each tell their individual stories of struggle in the concrete jungle, and the creative ways they find hope.
About the Filmmaker: Mischa Meyer is an award winning director, editor and photographer. Raised in Germany, films served as siblings and father figures and a way to see the world in a different light. This has propelled him to develop challenging projects in both film and photography, using his passion for immersing himself in the unknown. Mischa has he earned multiple Clio Awards. In 2018, Mischa wrote, produced and directed his first short ‘Ant’, winning awards including a Silver Cannes Young Director Award.
