Synopsis: A comedy about the insanity of modern politics and social media whataboutery. A tickly cough derails the career-defining live TV interview of MP Fiona Lacey (Maxine Peake) – Minister for the Environment. Trying to deliver an important message about the Climate Crisis, her career takes a nosedive.
About the Filmmaker: Jill Worsley is an award winning documentary director, now venturing into fiction writing and directing. She has directed a wide range of docs for UK channels BBC, ITV and Channel 4. In 2019 she was BAFTA nominated for feature documentary ‘School For Stammerers’. Jill’s fiction film ‘Fred Gets Feedback’ was filmed entirely on Zoom after entering a BBC Writersroom opportunity, it subsequently won a Rose D’or (European TV Awards). Jill’s first fiction short as a director, comedy horror ‘Arm’, premiered at FrightFest and won Best Director at the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival.
