Synopsis: A daughter seeks refuge from her emotionally abusive partner at the home of her estranged mother. They attempt to reconnect and move forward, despite the knowledge that their time together is limited; bound in a knot of silent agreement to the changing of the seasons.
About the Filmmaker: Amelia Sears is associate director of SEARED Productions. Recipient of the Bulldog Princep Bursary at the National Theatre where she also worked extensively as a staff director. Her associate work includes, ‘Twelfth Night’ for the Donmar in the West End, ‘Ghosts’ for Thelma Holt Productions, ‘Al Gran Sole Carico D’Amore’ at the Salzburg Festival. Her first short film, Three, produced by Long Acre Arts and Jodie Whittaker premiered at the BAFTA qualifying Underwire festival.
