Synopsis: A desperate woman robs a gas station with her nearly-blind younger brother in order to pay for his cataract surgery, and as a result catapults herself into deep water.
About the Filmmaker: Jonatan Egholm Keis is a self-made film director from Copenhagen, Denmark. Kicking off his career aged 13 as a stills photographer, his work was featured by brands such as Adobe and Canon. At 20, Jonatan wrote, co-produced and directed his first 30 minute film, ‘Sail On, My Love’. He has worked closely with renowned production company Snowglobe (The Worst Person in the World, Godland, The Innocents) in Copenhagen to develop ‘Cataract’ and future projects.
