Synopsis: An observational meditation on grief, time and what we leave behind; a vivid portrait of loss – of a loved one, a village, a post office. Norah MacRae – the longest serving post office worker in Scottish history – reflects on what’s to come in her remaining years from the wee shop attached to her house.
About the Filmmaker: Raised in the Outer Hebrides, Niall is an emerging Scottish filmmaker who’s unique mixed-race upbringing has allowed him to see the world in his own way. He has achieved an MA in Filmmaking from UWS (also receiving the court medal) and his work in short film has garnered several awards, including a Royal Television Society award for camerawork and winner of Best Documentary at The HB Festival ’22 for his debut short ‘Straight Girl’.
