About the Filmmaker: As a writer, I currently have two series in development with HBO Max. I previously sold a murder-mystery dramedy to Amazon Studios called NANCY WU DONE IT, and I have written episodes for Warner Brothers upcoming MISADVENTURES OF MASTER MOLEY. I have co-written several award-winning shorts, including BALIKO and THE HEART OF THE FOREST, which won Best Script at Asians on Film Festival. Last year I was named as The Hollywood Reporter’s Rising Star and Variety’s ‘Top 10 to Watch’ for my work as an actress. BUS-GIRL is my directing debut.
