Synopsis: It takes 6 weeks to come off anti-depressants. A man tries to dance his way through it, armed only with a boombox and a sign inviting people to join him. From over 100 hours of footage shot on the streets of Bristol and London, this film documents a journey from isolation to connection and a montage of city life.
About the Filmmaker: Jacob Lee is an artist working in film. He was lucky enough to meet Richard Demarco in 2019 who told him the true motivation for any artist is to try to express the feeling of being overwhelmed by their life. This rings true for Jacob’s creative practice.
So far he has made 5 stop-motion animations and one documentary. He is constantly learning and feels lucky to have found what he wants to with his life, which is filmmaking!
