Synopsis: Celeste and Aurora have lived together for some time. Dye Red is a dark but graceful slice-of-life look at their relationship.
About the Filmmaker: Vittoria Campaner is a Venetian cinematographer who has worked internationally on narrative films screened at various film festivals. A graduate of the MFA program in Cinematography at UCLA, in 2020 she was selected as a Cinematography fellow for Film Independent’s Project Involve. As a storyteller, she is drawn to high-concept narratives, magical realism, and subject matter that deals with the more absurd aspects of everyday life, with a particular focus on women’s stories.
