Synopsis: A hand-drawn sequential telling of human history in all its horror and glory, culminating in our next evolutionary leap. Cuties explores the elusive beauty in how we as a species continue forward despite our proclivity for destruction.
About the Filmmaker: After graduating in Fine Art, Theo Scott’s short animation DoughButt was commissioned and broadcast by Channel 4. While continuing to work on short films, he has had cartoons published in publications such as ‘Private Eye’ magazine. Theo’s most recent project involved harnessing Machine Learning algorithms to create an experimental and unprecedented 3D-animation for Mercury Award-winning musician Gwil Sainsbury (of Alt-J).
