Synopsis: In the remote forests of the Scottish Highlands, an ageing stalker puts his grit and wits against a young poacher, who is taking the heads of his best stags. Stalker is a tense, suspenseful film which provokes reflection on human greed and the fragility of life. Although it was filmed on location in Scotland, the film’s pre-production and post-production work was completed in Norwich – home of the director, Christopher Andrews.
About the Director: Christopher Andrews is a Norwich-based writer and director. He began his career in television camera department, before studying an MA in screenwriting at London Film School and starting to make his own shorts. Recently, Chris has written and directed Fire, which was supported by Film London, and Stalker, supported by Creative England. As a writer, Chris has recently worked on feature screenplays for BBC Films, AGC Studios and Cinestaan Film Company.
