Synopsis:
Paul has an attitude. He’s the kid you cross the road to avoid. The no-hoper you pray your children never become. But there’s more to Paul than meets the eye or the ear. A side that he only finds when he’s truly lost.
Little Shit is a child’s journey to discover his and London’s hidden nature.
About the Director:
Director, writer, producer Richard Gorodecky began his career in advertising. Learning his craft as a storyteller and developing a passion for filmmaking. Richard’s commercial work has earned over sixty industry awards, has been featured in numerous publications and is part of the permanent collection of The Museum Of Art And Craft in Hamburg. In 2015 Richard stepped behind the camera to direct his first short film – The River Man. A documentary about Connie Corcoran, one of Ireland’s great salmon fishing guides. The film tells the fated love story between a man and a river. When broadcast on Irish television, The River Man earned Critics Choice in The Sunday Times newspaper. It was the finalist for the Grand Prix and Best Documentary at Cork Film Festival, finalist for Best Short Documentary at Big Sky Documentary Film Festival, and won Best Short Documentary and Lift Off Film Festival Amsterdam and Lift Off Film Festival Sydney. In 2016 Richard wrote and directed Little Shit, a fictional drama based on his experiences of growing up in London. Production was completed in August 2017.
Richard is currently writing a feature film, developing two documentaries, and writing a book on Idioms.
