We are absolutely thrilled to welcome and launch this year’s NFF2019 with BAFTA Nominated Actor David Morrissey for an in conversation about his outstanding work in Film/TV. With his acting career spanning the best part of over 30 years he has established himself as one of the most talented actors of stage and screen. Throughout his extensive film career he has starred in films such as ‘Nowhere Boy’, ‘The Ones Below’, The Other Boleyn Girl’, ‘Red Riding: The Year of Our Lord’, ‘The Deal’, ‘Captain Correlli’s Mandolin’, ‘Hilary & Jackie’, ‘Drowning by Numbers’ and many more. His stage credits have included ‘The End of History’, ‘Julius Caesar’, ‘Macbeth’, and ‘Three Days of Rain’. However, David is probably best known internationally for the role of The Governor in the hit show ‘ The Walking Dead’. Other outstanding TV credits include ‘Dr Who’, ‘State of Play’, ‘The Driver’, ‘Britannia’ and ‘The Missing’ to name but a few.
