Hello!
Every year The Norwich Film Festival looks to recruit a wonderful enthusiastic team of volunteers to help with the running duties associated with the Festival. It is fair to say we would be lost without the support of volunteers and we would love to welcome you to become part of the team in 2019!
So what type of duties are included with volunteering, I hear you ask? Well, these can range from; ushering, marketing, front of house greetings, box office, selling merchandise to handing out flyers in the street. Volunteering jobs really do vary but these can be great fun and are a wonderful way to meet like minded individuals.
However, before we are able to discuss your volunteering duties further you need to make sure your are eligible. Therefore:
- Volunteers must be aged 18 or older.
- You also need to be local to the event you wish to volunteer for as we cannot provide accommodation or travel.
- Enthusiastic , committed and eager to be part of a growing Film Festival in Norwich
So what we need from you:
- A friendly persona
- Reliability
- Good Initiative
- An interest in film
- Fluent English
We will provide a short training session and getting to know you session before the Festival, so it is useful if you can be available for those as well.

Please note: We are hosting a volunteering recruitment drive on Thursday 26th September at Café Bar Marazo which is based in The Forum, Norwich from 6:00pm till 7:00pm. This is a great opportunity to meet some of the team and ask any questions.
