About the director
Venetia Taylor, an emerging writer/director/actor based in Sydney, completed an mLitt in English Literature at Sydney University in 2009, and trained at Screenwise. Her short films include Ophelia, Terror on the Northside, Germany, The Palace, Connected, Maria, Distant Thunder, Brittany & Garbo. Stage plays include Bluebloods, Butterkeks, Hillary Hillary Hillary & Terror on the Northside (Best Script, Best New Talent & Best Overall Production at the Sydney Short and Sweet Festival 2008). Film awards include Best Screenplay & Best Comedy (WOW Film Festival, 2009), Travel Fellowship (Perth International Film Festival, 2010), Bin Laughing Award (In The Bin Film Festival, 2010), Most Popular Film (Over the Fence Comedy Film Festival, 2010), Audience Choice Award (Sandlfy Film Festival, 2010) & First Place (Boohoo Film Competition, 2011).
HUMAN PRODUCTIONS was founded in 2009 by Daniel Prypchan & Venetia Taylor.
