Tantalus was condemned to not get what he wished for. Through visual continuity and substantial movement, this animation shows the sentence as a pleasant way of life.
About the director
Rosa Peris is an interdisciplinary artist who expresses movement by drawing and animation. She studied Fine Arts at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (2007), where she studied animation and made the Master degree in Artistic Production (2009). She also has studied animation in several workshops and courses. Currently she is writing a doctoral thesis about artistic and experimental animation.
In 2011 Rosa did an internship with Raimund Krumme as adviser and at the Academy of Media Arts of Cologne. Her graduate film Corre, Caballito was selected in a lot of festivals like Animadrid, HAFF Tube, Cubanima, Flip and Baumann among others. Her last film Libidinis was exhibited at the Welcome Trust in London, in the exhibition Skin.
