Oscar winning editor and Norwich Film Festival judge Martin Walsh visited the festival earlier tonight at a special screening of his 2006 film V for Vendetta.
A dedicated crowd came to the event at the King’s Centre and stayed to listen to Martin discuss his career, the difficulties that new talent face when trying to break into the business and what it was like working with the Wachowski siblings.
Dr Melanie Williams from the University of East Anglia hosted the Q + A session before opening it up to the audience, who was interested in finding out all about Martin’s varied career.
Talking before the screening, Martin discussed how impressed he was with this year’s festival nominees, and you can still get tickets for the two shows on Monday and Tuesday. Visit here to find out more.
Thank you from all at Norwich Film Festival HQ to both Martin and Melanie for their very kind participation and enthusiasm for the festival.
