2012 One Minute Movie
Is there a greater battle on God’s green earth than the one between a fly and a window pane? No. No there isn’t. But will intrepid Scot Marty McFly succeed where millions of his forebears have failed?
About the director
I went to Bournemouth Media School a decade ago. A decade! After I graduated I spent four or five years in and around the music industry making some cool stuff which I loved, like MTV2’s “Gonzo,” but mostly making the kind of bilge that has your trigger finger working over-time on the remote (in the dual interests of discretion and personal pride these projects will remain nameless). Suffice to say that this did not satisfy me. Y’know, as an artist etc. I’ve since spent about two years writing and directing comedy in the hope that one day someone will pay me to do more. I taught myself to animate a year-or-so ago because sourcing locations was such a laborious chore and because cameras are expensive to hire. Animating by yourself is plenty more affordable than shooting with a crew and being able to make things on my own inside my laptop meant quite simply that I could make more things. “Oh The Pane” is one of those things.
