Synopsis: Master Tseng, the first woman tea master in China’s history, takes us on a sensorial journey steeped in history. We travel though her delicate and timeless world as she unveils the secrets of Pu Er tea.
About the Filmmaker: Anna-Claria Ostasenko Bogdanoff is an award winning film director based in Paris. After graduating from renowned film school La Fémis in production design, she decided to become a director. Her graduation film My Body Given For You was shortlisted for the 44th Student Academy Awards, screened at many festivals around the world and won special mention at Sao Paulo International Film Festival. She then directed the short documentary Her Scents of Pu Er that premiered at Hot Docs in April 2022 and screened at Doc NYC, Doc Edge, Mecal Pro… She is currently in preproduction of her next shorts films and writing her first feature. Anna-Claria also finished in November 2022 an artist residency at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris where she wrote and directed films about the museum. She directed shorts about exhibitions such as Cartier, Thierry Mugler, Schiaparelli, Saint-Exupery’s Little Prince…
