Synopsis: When a disturbing presence casts a shadow over everything you do, there comes a moment when you have to confront it. An exploration of intrusive thoughts and where they may lead.
About the Director: Georgie Monica is a maker, illustrator and animator based in Bristol, with a focus on art direction, story and design. Georgie is particularly interested in using colour and design features to support a narrative and in how much those details can further push a story.
She completed a BA in Illustration at Falmouth University, developing a three dimensional illustration style, designing and fabricating scenes from paper. She recently completed a masters in animation at the Bristol School of Animation, UWE, focusing on evolving her techniques and abilities further with a view to working in animation. While on her MA she wrote, directed and produced her first short film, ‘Common Molly’, in a 2-and-a-half-D paper cutout style.
