20/04/15 – NFF15 Presents an Evening with Roger Michell – POSTPONED

Join us on Monday 20th April for a special evening with BAFTA award winning director Roger Michell. Known for a body of work which crosses both film and television, and includes Notting Hill, Changing Lanes, Hyde Park on Hudson, and The Buddha of Suburbia, Roger will be talking about his work and career which spans over 20 years. We will also be screening clips from some of his more well known pieces, as well as hosting a Q&A.

Tickets are free for students of the University of East Anglia, or £2 for non students.

22/04/15 – NFF15 Part 4 – POSTPONED

The Department of Film, Television and Media Studies, in conjunction with Norwich Film Festival, are delighted to present an evening of student films followed by a Q&A with some of the film makers on Wednesday 22nd April at JSC 0.01

Included in this one off screening event are films produced by students on the MA in Film, Television and Creative Practice as well as a number of films produced by past and present undergraduate students.

Friday 25 April, The Rumsey Wells, Norwich - NFF14 Preview Evening (18)

A preview night for the 4th Norwich Film Festival, offering a chance for people to come down and meet the volunteers behind the festival. You will get a chance to see trailers and clips from the films to be screened this year, read up on all the entries, plus network with like minded people (some of the filmmakers are planning on attending for your chance to speak to them about their work). There will also be a bar and live music.

Tuesday 6 May, ODEON Norwich – An Evening of NFF Shorts (Part One) (18)

A selection of the very best short films from around the world have been selected for this year’s festival. A host of countries will be represented in the categories of Short Film, Student Film, Animated Film and One Minute Movie.

Thursday 8 May, ODEON Norwich – BAFTA Short Films & Animations on Tour (15)

Following on from the EE British Academy Film Awards which will take place on February 16th, the nominated short films and short animations will be touring the country. For the fourth year in a row, this tour will include the Norwich Film Festival. For more information on the films involved, please visit the BAFTA website.

Saturday 10 May, The Kings Centre, Norwich – V For Vendetta, + Martin Walsh Q&A (15)

A special screening of the film V For Vendetta which will be introduced by its Academy Award winning editor Martin Walsh. Martin will also be hosting a Q&A afterwards to discuss what it was like working on the film (and others), as well as his career in general.

Monday 12 May, ODEON Norwich - An Evening of NFF Shorts (Part Two) (18)

Continuing on from last week, more of the very best short films from around the world have been selected for this year’s festival. A host of countries will be represented in the categories of Short Film, Student Film, Animated Film and One Minute Movie.

Tuesday 13 May, ODEON Norwich - An Evening of NFF Shorts (Part Three) (18)

A continuation of short films submitted to the festival.

Friday 16 May, The Rumsey Wells, Norwich - NFF14 Closing Night
